Frequently Asked Questions

How does Covid-19 affect my purchase?

Since I work by myself and I am able to get most of my materials online or contactless I have not found much of an impact in production of my collections. The only place I have found I have been impacted is with shipping costs and times.

So I apologize if you order something and it takes a while to get to you. I will do what I can to ensure you get your pieces as quickly and safely as possible.

Where are you located?

I am located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Currently I am working out of my home studio.

Can I see you in person?

There is nothing that can replace the feeling of seeing artwork in person, because of this I do make a point of going to events where I can be available to people to see my work and interact with me in person. There is the added bonus of me having some artwork that I will only ever sell in person at these events.

To see if there is an event coming up see my event page.

Do you ever paint your own stories?

I do create my own stories that have my own world and characters within them. My personal sketchbook is full of drawings of them and I have done several paintings of them, however I have not done a collection revolving around my own stories at this point. Who knows, maybe that will be something for me to work on in the future.

How often do you release a Collection?

Currently I release a Collection quarterly. Then I will dedicate at least one month to shipping that collection and preparing for the next.

How often do you release prints?

A month or two after each collection release there will be a print release.

Aside from these smaller releases there will be a larger print release once a year that will have some of the best sellers from several collections.

Do you take commissions?

I am currently accepting a limited number of commissioned projects.  Commissioned paintings typically take 6-8 weeks for completion. Contact me here for more information about the process and pricing.

Will you copy a previous painting that already sold?

No, duplicating a painting never really works out.  The client is inevitably disappointed (because it's never possible to get it exactly right), and it is not very much fun for me to do something over again.

On occasion there will be print releases of originals that have previously sold, so if you are very interested in a specific piece be sure to keep your eyes open for these print releases.

However, I will consider a commissioned project using the same mood/style/colors of a previous piece.  But it will NOT be an exact duplicate.

What materials do you use?

Depending on what medium I am using my materials can vary slightly. For the most part I use hot or cold press watercolour paper. India ink, water soluble ink, acrylic ink, tube watercolour paints, gouache, and water-colour brushes.

For my fine art prints I use hot press uncoated paper. Each print will be limited and will be hand signed by me.

Where do you ship too?

I’m happy to say that I offer world-wide shipping! If for some reason you have trouble finding the option for where you are located send me an email and I would be more than happy to help you.

Can I share your images?

The short answer is yes, but I require all credit for my work be given back to me. For more information about my copyright policies see the terms of service page.

I’m interested in a piece, but I want to know more about it. What should I do?

Commitment can be a big deal. I get that. If you want to know a bit more about a piece before committing to taking it home that’s absolutely no problem. You can contact me directly and I will be happy to answer any of your questions about a piece.
